Friday
Went to Mango Tree, Kuching, for lunch today. The restaurant serves mainly on Thai Cuisines and mix local cuisines. It's a Thai restaurant to sum it up. This one is located at Jalan Crookshank. The one opposite Civic Centre. Not to confused with Mango Tree Bistro somewhere in the city centre. Not sure whether the place still exist or not.
Lunch today was sponsored by Cikgu Leha today in conjunction of her birthday.
Happy birthday, Cikgu Leha!

Love the decoration. The Thai airs is truly liven up here.
So, the restaurant exists since 2004. Its already 13 plus years old??? Thumbs up for still being here. Seriously. It's hard to maintain food businesses here in a small city, some more here in Sarawak. The Borneo island, where I don't think people know our state that much.
Don't ask me why. I have this feeling for table decoration. But what caught my attention the most in this room was those elephants at the back there. Reminded me of Thailand.
Please support the protection of elephants all over the world.
First dish. I didn't even know the name. Basically, we, the local people called it "Kerabu Paku".
But I think this one was done with the touch of a Thai. It has peanuts, chilli, onion, a taste of lime. It smelled good too.
I think this one should be "a must try dish" when you visit this restaurant. Very awesome!
It was good. Seriously. Sorry, I just don't know the name of the dish. It had the taste of minced chicken in it, with prawns. Something like that.
Lets called it mixed seafood in sauce. What kind of sauce, I have no idea. It was tasty too.
Fried rice. This one errmmm, moderate. You can get it anywhere.
Mixed vegetables. I guess they added corn flour to make that thick gravy. Nice one too
Roasted chicken. This one was ok. Just ok. Am not a fan of roasted chicken. So.....
Fish in sauce. Something something sauce. Not a big fan of fish, but I still ate it tho.. It tasted good. Didn't smell fishy at all.
Tomyam seafood. Quite nice
Dessert. Mixed fruits
Kuih Tako
Its topped with coconut cream, layered under with glutinous flour and corn at the very last.
It was superb!
Happy kids with happy tummy!!! Yeayyyy!!
Foods were great!
*Thumbs up to the chef*

P/s: Don't take this as a review since we have our own opinion and taste in foods. As for me, I really like the foods. They were all great. If you are here in Kuching, Sarawak, take the chance to visit and have some Thai cuisines here.
