Half half

Am still have this thinking of deleting this blog.
Tapi sayang...
It's uncountable on how many times I changed the link and the title of this blog.
😃😃😃😃

How come I don't have that ketetapan hati...

Nahhh, nothing special. It just that I need to reset everything and start out fresh again. Saja jerrr. But then, am keeping the content the same. I saved everything before deleted the previous links, and uploaded back the content into the new page. Banyak kerja. Suka-suka.

I have work to do but couldn't find motivation to complete everything. Feeling tired. As of tomorrow, I'll be meeting final semester/final year students. I really need to prepare my brain and soul.
Reading, listening, working out the brain to guide them in doing their final thesis would require a lot of energy.

Spotify?
Owh ya. I started listening to The Table Podcast since the first episode. It's very entertaining. And not to mention, the ideas of whatever Tablo speaks on his podcast make everything seems daebak.

Is that the latest thing I've been doing? I guess so.

Group research for this year is still on-going.
Am still in the midst of finalizing our group research article from previous year for local newspaper publication. And am still in the midst of finalizing my diploma students carry marks.
One more week to go before their final exam paper.
And next week will start lectures with my Bachelor students.

Workloads seem ok, and not so ok. It's just so-so. So, ya... It's work tho...

Want to find something for lunch but the same old problem. Don't know what to have. Seems like I've tried every foods in this area.

Thank you

Thank you, cousin's wife, for the dinner.
Finally I ate proper meal for the first time after many weeks missing due to work and time.

From left to right
Fried ikan terubuk, tempoyak goreng, petai goreng sambal, sambal kicap pedas.
Am too lazy to translate. So, use Google to translate if you need it.

Lock Ann Cafe, Kuching

Went to fetch my auntie's friend at the airport. Then we went to  Lock Ann Cafe. Seriously. Am afraid to try meehoon belacan at any eateries. I only eat the one that my auntie's cooked. Meehoon belacan doesn't taste good when you eat at the eateries since people tend to reduce the ingredients or they just don't know how to make a proper one.

But different case with Lock Ann Cafe. I approved their meehoon belacan. It was like sedappppppppppppppppppp!!!!! Oh my gosh. Why do I feel so overwhelmed typing this... I can still taste the taste in my mouth. Definitely the best I could found outside from home. And definitely would come to have this again next time when am craving for it.

Hope they will maintain the taste and everything. I don't mind paying money on good food.

ABC a.k.a Ais Batu Campo
Shave ice with whatever toppings they put in there. They had jellies in it, sweet corn, red beans, milk/coconut milk, gula apong, cendol (the green thing)...
So nice

Meehoon belacan
How to translate into English?
Meehoon with shrimp paste gravy?
The gravy is made from shrimp paste. Here's the trick. If you have good quality of shrimp paste, the gravy will turn out great. If you use whatever shrimp paste without considering the quality, the gravy can smell fishy and the taste would be bitter.
The gravy is made of shrimp paste, grind dried chili, dried shrimp, gula apong. Blend all together.
Then, meehoon (vermicelli), shredded cucumber, chili paste, lime, squid, century egg.

Ok. Done.

Holiday

I went back to my kampung during my leave last two weeks. Not much to do, just spent times with my cousins and relatives. We had blessing prayer for our grandpa who had just discharged from the hospital. From a healthy old man, he is now bedridden. So here are the photos that I managed to snap.

My cousin asked me, do you want to drink coconut water? And I said yes. So she did this for me. Hehehe
Thank you, cuzzy! Saranghae!

And the next thing I did was throwing few bananas into the wood fire. Is that what we called wood fire or fire wood? Or none of these makes any sense at all?
Hahahaha. Damnit my English. This is my favorite dessert all time.

The outcome. Hot burnt banana. There are many ways of eating this. I love eating it with sugar. If I manage to open up my own coffee shop one day, this would definitely stated on the menu.
With different toppings that you can choose from, of course.

See this. The sugar melt.. Very nice!

And photo time!

And we had our mini cousins' evening gathering at the front yard. Hahahaha.

My nephew and his milk bottle

And the night after the prayer.
My nephews.

Ok. That's all.
Oh, by the way, am back to work now.
Duhhhh

Gula apong milkshake

This was my second try of having this milkshake. taste good. They have smoothies too. For this second time, I ended up having the same drink I had on my first time buying from this kiosk.
Located at Food Haven, The Hills, Kuching.
Find the kiosk station named THIRST.

Ordered these cookies for my niece's 11th birthday.
They did so well with the printed cream topping of the cookies.
